A new survey has revealed nearly half of people in Kent consider public sexual harassment to be a major or moderate problem.

The details released by girls' rights charity Plan International UK show 28 percent of people in Kent have experienced public sexual harassment themselves, or know someone who has.

One in five people have also changed their lifestyle in a bid to avoid unwanted attention - such as taking a different route home or not exercising.

16-year-old Elodie, from Kent, became a victim of public sexual harassment while returning home from a run at the age of just 13.

She's now working with the charity to raise awareness and campaign for public sexual harassment to be made a crime.
