A Kent mum says her daughter will be forced to take a 'more dangerous route' to school when a bus service is cut. Stagecoach buses that take children from Whitstable and Herne Bay to the Spires Academy in Canterbury are being axed next month. The bus operator is blaming rising costs and a drop in passenger numbers, but says there are other services for pupils. Karen Norris from Whitstable has a daughter in Year 9.
