Scott McCarron, Bob Ford, Matthew Laurance, & Chris Koske Join Me...
In this episode of Next on the Tee I'm joined by 2019 Champions Tour Player of the Year Scott McCarron, one of the all-time great PGA Professionals Bob Ford, Actor turned ESPN Radio Host Matthew Laurance, and Edel Golf's Chief Marketing Officer Chris Koske joined me.
Scott McCarron talks about his driving distance now versus when he first joined the PGA Tour. We also hear about the back-to-back majors they have coming up on the Champions Tour, dealing with missing 1 foot putts, and how to have a winning mindset vs. playing not to lose.
Bob Ford is in several hall of fames including the PGA Professional Hall of Fame and he was recognized with the Bob Jones Award for his great contributions in the game. Bob was also the Head Golf Professional for several decades at both Oakmont Country Club and Seminole Golf Club. We hear several of his memories from both clubs plus his thoughts on the Saudi League and his stories about playing with Arnold Palmer.
Matthew Laurance shares memories from his very first commercial and the number of cigarettes they smoked during the filming of Eddie & the Cruisers. We also hear his thoughts on The Masters, Tiger's performance, and his experience playing Harbor Town Golf Links.
Chris Koske takes us through their Golf Award-winning putters and wedges. We hear about how far off most of us are with aiming our putters, plus their elaborate fitting process that will help us make more putts and hit our wedges much closer to the hole.
