Menopause and Work

Season 1, Episode 17,   May 09, 2022, 02:00 AM

More than 60% of women say that their menopause symptoms decreased their productivity and quality of work and even though millions of corporate dollars are lost due to absenteeism, reduced quality of work, and health care costs, the US government and corporate America refuse to recognize or mitigate the problem. The time is way overdue to acknowledge and fix it.
In this episode Dr. Streicher discusses:
  • The PERSONAL and ECONOMIC impact of menopause in the workplace
  • RESEARCH on how often specific symptoms impact specific aspects of work
  • WHY women do not talk to their bosses about menopause symptoms
  • How the UK addresses and REDUCES the impact
  • Why the US needs to do what the UK is doing
