Maramec Spring Hatchery Kids Free Fishing Day

Join Living the Dream Outdoors Podcast host Bill Cooper  as he takes part in the freed kids fishing day at the James Foundation’s Maramec Spring Park. He visits with Missouri Department of Conservation fisheries assistant  Angie Volmert. Angie talks about the history and importance of the kids fishing programs.

In the second segment Cooper visits with Wes Swee, the Regional Manager of the James Foundation about the kids fishing day event and other special events planned for Maramec Spring Park throughout the summer. 

In the final segment Cooper talks fishing in the lakes and rivers of the Ozarks, including how to catch panfish. Big largemouth bass, and a near record smallmouth caught out of the Gasconade River.
