“Neither one of them answered me, for everyone was staring up at the night sky. The Aurora Borealis had gotten much worse. Not only had it filled the entire nighttime sky, but the bands of lights were stretching down so far, they were practically hovering above the towers nearby. Then all of the lights around town suddenly went out.”
