"N***** Really In Paris"
Jun 12, 2022, 11:00 PM
Black tennis really shined in Paris this year (hence the title of this episode). We review a historic French Open for 18-year-old singles and doubles runner-up Coco Gauff. Our girl Taylor Townsend, a doubles semi-finalist, did her thing with Madison Keys. As did Sloane Stephens, who reached the quarter-finals and played beautifully in one of her favourite cities.
We also talk about Jo-Wilfried Tsonga’s emotional and well-deserved send-off; reveal why we think Felix Auger-Aliassime – the only player to take champion Rafael Nadal to five sets – should tell Toni Nadal to kick rocks; show Mikael Ymer and Frances Tiafoe some love for picking up momentous wins; and give a mention to some juniors who competed.
And finally, we have exciting news regarding our whereabouts during this grass-court season… Shouts out to the Lawn Tennis Association!
