013 - 5 months of war
Episode 13, Aug 02, 2022, 05:30 AM
On 21st February 2022, the world looked on in horror as yet another catastrophic world event unfolded. Five months later, it continues to put pressure on the world. In this episode, we’re switching up things a little.
Instead of discussing the top three world events impacting the world of work, we narrow it down to just one. Per IMF, Global economic prospects have darkened amid war in Ukraine, inflation, and a resurgent pandemic. If the threats continue to intensify, the world economy will face one of its weakest years since 1970, a period of intense global stagflation.
Join Ankita as she chats to Uliana Morokhovska, an executive search & HR professional from Ukraine about the war, what organizations can do differently and which other world event is currently capturing her attention.
Correction: Uliana moved to Romania in 2018, not 2008 as mentioned in the podcast.
