The Deadly Saltpeter Mines of Chile. The Ghost Towns of La Noira & Humberstone

Saltpeter mines in the now ghost towns of Humberstone and La Noira were no joke, here the whole family was put to work, including small children. Today folks claim to see apparitions of past residents roaming about.  You'll also hear about Chile's worst massacre and its connection to Saltpeter.
