Migration Agent Calls for Intervention for Local Carers Facing Deportation

An aged care worker at Murray Bridge's Lerwin Nursing Home is facing deportation just as the regional hospital and aged care sectors are crying out for more staff.
Clifford Chisengalumbwe and his family are set to be sent home to Zambia later this month after living in the country for 17 years, if they are unsuccessful in their bid for a bridging visa or permanent residency.
Migration agent and Chief Executive of Migration Solutions, Mark Glazbrook, is acting on behalf of the family, along with a married couple in Goolwa, Navi Kaur and Vik Singh Kaur, who are also also at risk of deportation this month.
