Cortney Lake was a 24 year old mother who disappeared from St. John's, Newfoundland on June 7th, 2017. On the day she was last seen, her abusive ex-boyfriend had been released after serving only two days in jail, and appearing in court for charges of abuse and harassment against Cortney. Just hours after he walked out of jail, Cortney Lake was captured on dash cam footage getting into the passenger seat of her ex-boyfriend's truck. She remains missing today.
