Everyone has those stories from their childhood that are a mix of things that happened and things that didn't happen. This is one of mine.
It is a story of death and grief and loss and how a child processes those things.
But, it is also a story of an imaginary friend, a mostly forgotten Greek myth, and the stories families tell about themselves.
