A study has revealed more people on the North-West Coast are likely to die from accidental prescription medicine overdose than in road deaths.
Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Council of Tasmania CEO Allison Lai says anyone concerned about the mixture of prescription drugs they may be taking for pain or sleep related issues and how they were making them feel, should talk about them with their GP or pharmacist.
