The Ohio State Reformatory is a historic prison in Mansfield, Ohio. The construction began in 1886, and was completed 24 years later, and remained in operation until 1990. It has been seen in several films, TV shows, and music videos and was made famous by the movie The Shawshank Redemption. It is also known as one of the most haunted prisons in America.
