Phil Carroll and Kevin Hornsby talk to Tech Minerals about the recent EA final draft operator review from the UK's Environment Agency for the variation license to commence operations for its lithium-ion battery recycling plant in Wolverhampton. The Wolverhampton plant is the first industrial-scale plant in the UK with the capability to recycle Li-ion batteries, and has the potential to recycle up to 8,300 tonnes of Li-ion batteries in the first year of operation. The global black mass recycling market is projected to reach $53bn by 2031, according to a study from BIS Research.
