Midweek Takeaway with Callum Sommerton, CEO of Chill Brands (LSE:CHLL) #CHLL
Season 5, Episode 63, Jun 05, 2023, 06:50 AM
Phil Carroll and Kevin Hornsby talk to Callum after the company has finalized arrangements for the sale of its nicotine-free vapour products in the US via its e-commerce website, Chill.com. The company has partnered with specialist carriers and fulfilment providers to facilitate home delivery to customers in all 50 US states. This is critical given the regulatory constraints from the 2019 US Preventing All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act that prohibits USPS and other major carriers from shipping vapour products. Despite these restrictions, Chill Brands aims to grow its share of the US vapour market and sees the regulatory environment as a catalyst for industry change. The nicotine-free vapour products will be available for purchase in June 2023 with age-verification protocols in place.
