Scientology Part 1

Katy is starting a deep dive into some different cults, and this week we are starting with Scientology! We learn about the beginnings of the "religion" in this week's episode. We discuss the ways in which L. Ron Hubbard began his journey with Scientology by using a special type of therapy that is very similar to the cognitive behavioral therapy that is common today, and how that morphed into what we now know Scientology to be.
