Conversations with Oscar: Maestro

What happens when you allow a person with too much theatre kid energy to make their passion project? Turns out you get this mess of a movie. We love Bradley Cooper, we love Carey Mulligan, and we love Leonard Bernstein, but we did not love this movie. From its messy script, to gimmicky black and white and unnecessary prosthetic we found ourselves questioning why this was nominated at all.
