Then, we are joined by former NBA player Dean Tolson to discuss his incredible story!Dean tells us about growing up in Kansas City, and what it was like to meet one of his sports heroes at a very young age.
He explains why he would end up signing with the University of Arkansas to play NCAA Basketball, and how he ended up setting records that still exist today, despite suffering from a serious physical setback!
He then describes what it was like to be drafted by both the NBA’s Seattle Supersonics and the NBA’s New York Nets!
He discusses his relationship with his Seattle coach Bill Russell, and some of the other locales where he would play pro basketball internationally.
Finally, Dean goes into how his mother convinced him to go back to the University of Arkansas, and the amazing impact that it had on his life!
