Creative Pinellas Emerging Artists Exhibition Opening May9th. Deb Carson

RadioStPete.com INSIDER host Deb Carson gives us an exclusive preview of Creative Pinellas’s Emerging Artist Exhibition opening May 9. The 2024 Emerging Artist Exhibition, an innovative exhibition of work showcasing the dynamic creations of our 2024 Emerging Artist grant recipients. This eighth annual exhibition features original work by ten exceptional artists: Kaitlin Crockett, Vanessa Cunto, Thomas Sayers Ellis, Fran Failla, Tyler Gillespie, Antonia Lewandowski, David McCauley, Harriet Monzon-Aguirre, Gaby Rosa and Luci Westphal. This will be a chance for viewers to support and acquire stunning pieces from these up-and-coming artists. An opening reception will be held Thursday, May 9 from 6-8pm and the exhibition will run through July 21, 2024, at the Gallery at Creative Pinellas. Beginning on May 18th and running through June 1st, on select dates, 2024 Emerging Artists will present Artist Talks. Guests will be able to listen and get to know the 2024 Emerging Artists as they speak about their art practice and exhibition collection with guests at The Gallery at Creative Pinellas. Artist Talks schedule will be found online at: creativepinellas.org/2024EAE The Emerging Artist Exhibition will be on display with artworks for sale through the closing at the Gallery at Creative Pinellas, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo. The Gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 10am – 5pm. The reception, talks and exhibition are free and open to the public.  Gallery Times: Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm
