Keli Mondello Honored at "Five Fabulous Females" Academy Prep 5-9-24 Tradewinds

Keli Mondello is a dedicated advocate for children, especially those with disabilities, striving to improve their lives and ensure equitable opportunities and access to quality education. Starting as a speech language pathologist, she later became a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem, founding member of Angels Against Abuse, and Board Chair of Florida's Inclusive Community Advisory Council. Keli also served as a Gubernatorial Appointed Advisor and Director for initiatives promoting education and workforce development in Florida. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Florida's Future, whose work advances policies preparing children for lifelong success. In January 2013, inspired by her daughter with autism and recognizing a lack of quality educational options for special needs students, Keli co-founded LiFT, a school for those with neurodiversity. Under her leadership as Board Chair, LiFT has grown from 17 students to nearly 200 and has evolved into three robust educational programs and a family resource center. She currently Co-Chairs the $16M "LiFTing Our Future" capital campaign, facilitating the school's transition to a new campus capable of accommodating over 400 students. Keli's passion for the marginalized drives her work as a servant leader. She believes her most significant achievement lies in fostering a sense of belonging and value to those she serves.
