Okay, first and foremost, sincere apologies for the delays here. Been a busy time IRL and we're still playing catchup. We've taken a week off from recording, so we'll get back up to speed soon, promise. Here's Episode 277 from Imola, featuring Hamilton's comeback win, Verstappen's title chances going pop, and Daniel Ricciardo sneaking another podium finish. Oh and Valentino catching COVID. Whoops. Full setlist below:
HOT TALKING POINTS
This race was almost a dud, save for the meltdown at the end. Let’s just discuss Mercedes’ run of SEVEN IN A ROW instead
GEOOOOOOOOORGE! AAAAAALLLLLLEXXXX!
Kvyat puts in his best drive of the season and it doesn’t matter for 2021
Also, Kevin Magnussen had a gearbox that was so rough that he described every upshift as “like being kicked in the head repeatedly”

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT EARLIER
MOTOGP: The Valencia Double is this weekend, but Valentino Rossi ain’t in it because he still tested positive for COVID-19. Instead of Jorge Lorenzo, WSBK’s Garrett Gerloff gets the call! 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Also damn, Yamaha really did get 50 points docked because their cylinders were “built different”
FORMULA 1: Saudi Arabia is getting a GP, in November, a Night Race in Jeddah no less. I’m sure this will be discussed in a nuanced and balanced manner.
INDYCAR: Alex Palou is now at Chip Ganassi Racing, which is genius on paper
FORMULA E: Cam’s boy Rene Rast is officially back with Audi, rookie Jake Dennis is driving for BMW Andretti, Jerome d’Ambrosio is now deputy team principal at Venturi
NASCAR: The playoff format stinks. That’s our show. Places you can find us, one more time!
