Melissa in the Morning: Youth-Service Learning

Connecticut continues to struggle to fill teacher positions and once we fill positions, our state is doing all it can to retain those teachers. More support is a big win for teachers and later this month, there are training opportunities to address youth-service learning in our schools. Kate Scheuritzel, Director of Programs for Serve Connecticut, shared the impact of this type of learning in the classroom and why educators should sign up for the free training July 22 and 24th.
