Stephen's interview with local actress and Gibbs High School Graduate is Alana Hogan.  Alana Hogan is from Palm Harbor, Florida, and was selected as a Jimmy nominee for her portrayal of Lucille Frank in Parade. She is a recent graduate of the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School, where you may have seen her as Lori and Cassie u/s in A Chorus Line, Paulina in Anastasia, or in her role in Fugitive Songs, earning her a Best Actress in a One-Act Award. Additionally, she studies with TOTA Music and Theatre Conservatory, where she has performed roles including Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Lady Olivia in Twelfth Night, Cosette in Les Miserables, and Julia Sullivan in The Wedding Singer. Alana has been awarded multiple theatre and vocal scholarships including: the 2024 R. Nurmela Bravo Award, both 2023 and 2024 Walker’s Rising Stars Theatre Scholarship (2nd place), the Tampa Oratorio Singers High School Scholarship, the CS Music Florida All-State Finalist Award, the 2023 Charlie Hounchell Art Stars Scholarship Competition Award, the St. Petersburg Opera Guild Competition Scholarship (2nd place), the Murray Mintz Memorial Scholarship, and the Debra Barnum Memorial Scholarship. In the Fall, she will be attending Florida State University for a Bachelor in Music in Music Theatre.

ABOUT STEPHEN RIORDAN Riordan is an actor and casting director. He got his start in theater at St. Petersburg Catholic High School and there is even a theater scholarship in his name now to send other promising actors for professional training. He studied at American Academy of Dramatic Arts and ping ponged between NYC and St. Pete, acting and working as a casting director (Home Shopping Network) and appearing in plays here, there and everywhere including dinner theater in Tampa Bay. Currently he is the casting and talent development director at Peloton and recently appeared in Hamlet with Bob Devin Jones, where his long relationship with the legendary leader and Studio@620 has him dreaming some theatrical visions for his future!
