In this episode of the midweek takeaway we are joined by Richard Horwood, COO of Electric Guitar (LSE:ELEG) after the company announced the share-for-share acquisition of Mymyne Limited, a developer of data-related software solutions and sales and marketing services provider. This acquisition, which is part of Electric Guitar's buy-and-build strategy, is expected to bring significant synergies and cost savings by integrating Mymyne's software capabilities and sales resources in-house. The acquisition is subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting on 27 August 2024. Additionally, Electric Guitar will issue new ordinary shares as part of the acquisition and to certain professional advisers.
