Outrage is growing across Connecticut as residents face massive spikes in their electricity bills, with some seeing increases of hundreds or even thousands of dollars. There is a petition calling on Governor Ned Lamont to revoke "public benefits" charges and for PURA to reverse a recent rate hike. It comes after State Republicans called for a special session earlier this month to find better solutions and take the pressure off ratepayers. We got perspective from Rep. Jonathan Steinberg, co-chair of the Energy & Technology Committee, about the issue at hand and whether a special session will happen.
