8/28 How Recruiting Works with Notre Dame's Kevin Corrigan

Around this time every year, dozens of parents of high school prospects ask IL's Terry Foy some version of the question, "How does recruiting work?"

In an effort to round out that answer, he's interviewing a series of DI men's lacrosse coaches about their process, continuing with Notre Dame coach Kevin Corrigan.

One of the longest tenured coaches in Division I, Corrigan has overseen the development of a program from non-scholarship to scholarship, from making a memorable run to the Final Four to swooning afterward, to establishing itself as a title contender, from moving from the GWLL to the Big East to the ACC. He touches on all that and more, while focusing on issues like promising playing time to recruiting his son to what changes when a program wins a championship.
