From University to the High Seas and the yachtie beginnings…

Megan is from the seaside town of Bournemouth. Although by the sea, she was never aware of the yachting industry and continued along the conventional path to University after school. Now armed with a degree in Criminology and sociology, Megan knew she wasn’t keen on being tied to a desk, so, enter: Below Deck.
Having watched the ever-popular show, followed influencers in the industry and had a few friends try it out, she wanted to join in, so she signed up to do some training at Flying Fish. The episode discusses Megan's experience getting started and dipping her toe into both interior and exterior training.
