Tune in to Lyrical Ladies Monday 4-5pm ET.
With a full-tank of vocal octaves, June Bunch began her songwriting career as a street performer in Asheville, NC. The self-taught musician sang her original songs between folky covers and gained traction as a local artist. Her spritely presence enticed crowd chemistry and carved long-lasting connections with listeners along the way. This eventually evolved into collaborations with multiple musicians as well.
June established a songwriting circle and hosted multiple "Writers in the Round" to showcase the community's original talents. During quarantine, her first E.P. "Not Much and Then Some" was released, revealing a low-fi window into her home studio.
The alternative folk player can be found belting ukulele tunes throughout her many home towns. She is also the Founder of the MUSIC CO-OP: The mission of this free project is to create a collective of musical collaborators. Participants share their contact and instruments, then get connected with quarterly projects. At the end, each project participates in the showcase
