David Manson Previews Free Clearwater Jazz Festival 9/27 @BayCare Sound

Nanette Wiser got a sneak peak of the Clearwater Jazz Festival 9/27 7pm @BayCare Sound from David Manson who is the founder of EMIT and O Som Do Jazz musician. In addition to performing, he mentors musicians and sound engineers at St. Pete College and supports local jazz in our community with world-class concerts, such as the annual St. Pete Jazz Festival. 

The Clearwater Latin Jazz Fest featuring award-winning musicians from Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Venezuela, Spain and the U.S., including Renesito Avich & Friends, Mauricio Rodriguez and the MJR Latin Project and O Som Do Jazz with Andrea Moraes Manson and José Valentino Ruiz will come together for a FREE concert of Latin Jazz. 
A ticket is not needed and seating will be first come first served. The Clearwater Latin Jazz Fest is presented by EMIT and Ruth Eckerd Hall with support from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the City of Clearwater and South Arts.
 
The EMIT series is dedicated to the presentation of adventurous music. EMIT has partnered with the Subtropics New Music Festival, Studioat620, The Florida Orchestra, BONK, Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association, The Gulf Coast Art Museum, New College-USF, The Palladium Theatre, SPIFFS, Salvador Dali Museum, WMNF-FM, Leepa-Rattner Museum, Subtropics New Music Festival, C.O.R.E., St. Petersburg College, Eckerd College and private galleries and businesses to present concerts of innovative and adventurous music. https://www.emitseries.org/
