Sean 'Diddy' Combs Sued for Rape, Assault, and Retaliation Over Tupac Shakur Comments

In a lawsuit filed in California, Ashley Parham alleges that Sean "Diddy" Combs violently assaulted and raped her as "payback" for remarks suggesting he was involved in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. Parham, who filed the lawsuit in Contra Costa County, says that Combs also threatened her life, vowing she would suffer for her comments about the rapper's unsolved death.

Parham's claims against Combs outline a harrowing chain of events that allegedly began in 2018. According to legal documents, she crossed paths with a friend of Combs at a bar, where he attempted to impress patrons by video-calling the music mogul. When Parham declined to join the call, reportedly stating she believed Combs "had something to do with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur," Combs overheard the remark. She claims he responded with a warning, saying she would "pay" for her words.

The lawsuit details that approximately one month later, Parham was invited by this same friend to his home under the pretense of needing help with cancer medications. While there, Parham alleges that Combs arrived unexpectedly, approached her, and pressed a knife to her face, threatening to cut her with a "Glasgow smile" in retribution for her comments. According to the lawsuit, Combs then proceeded to assault her by tearing off her clothes and "violently" raping her with a television remote.

During this ordeal, Parham claims that Combs made it clear that her life was "in his hands" and that, should he choose, she "would never be seen again." According to the court filing, Combs then permitted other individuals present at the scene to rape her repeatedly. Parham further alleges that when she attempted to escape, Combs offered her money in exchange for claiming that the assault had been consensual. At that point, she managed to flee to a neighboring house, where residents, alarmed by gunshots, had already contacted police.

The lawsuit states that Parham made multiple attempts to report the gang rape to authorities, including the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department and hospital staff, but asserts that no investigation followed.

In her legal action, Parham seeks justice on multiple grounds, including charges of sexual assault, battery, abuse, false imprisonment, and kidnapping. She is demanding a jury trial.

This recent filing adds to a growing list of legal challenges faced by Combs, who is now held in a New York detention center on unrelated federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Combs has consistently denied all allegations of sexual assault. His attorneys maintain that previous claims are attempts to "garner publicity" and "money grabs."

In response to the series of lawsuits, including claims filed in New York alleging that he molested a minor, Combs’ legal team filed a motion calling for the release of his accusers' identities, asserting that the flood of anonymous accusations has "irreparably damaged" his reputation. Combs' attorneys have additionally requested his release on bail, citing what they describe as "horrific" conditions in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center. Prosecutors, however, oppose bail, contending that Combs poses a risk of witness intimidation.

As his upcoming trial looms, Combs has taken to social media, recently posting an Instagram message from jail. His legal team continues to emphasize his stance of denial and cites the volume of accusations as contributing to an "unfair media frenzy." They argue that the surge of allegations against Combs is undermining his chance for a fair trial.

With the addition of Parham's lawsuit, Combs now faces a complex web of accusations that threatens to shadow his career and legacy. Parham's suit underscores a broader narrative of alleged abuse by Combs that spans years and multiple states, as his legal battles continue to unfold.
