Pope names like-minded ally Cardinal McElroy as Washington archbishop

AP correspondent Charles de Ledesma reports that right at the end of the Christmas season, Pope Francis is naming Cardinal Robert McElroy of San Diego as the archbishop of Washington, D.C.
