Joe and Dane open the second hour of the show congratulating Gary Woodland for winning the U.S. Open. The guys go on to talk about the Lakers being big favorites for the title next season, and how everyone needs to cool their jets, citing how forming super teams is not the same as it was a few years ago. Joe and Dane talk about how the Yankees adding Edwin Encarnacion creates a log jam, and also think newly demoted Clint Frazier will be the biggest trade asset in getting a top pitcher. Dane says the Yankees main reason for adding another big bat is that the Rays and Red Sox were looking at Encarnacion, and the Yankees had to play defense. The guys finish the hour looking at some over-under lines for tonight’s MLB slate.
