A Geofon recording of the Head Gear at Victory Shaft Geevor mine in Cornwall, this was one of the last 2 remaining working mines in Cornwall when it closed in 1990. Recorded on a windy day so the whole structure hums with the vibrations of the air and also the depth of the shaft it heads which is 480 metres. If you listen carefully a crow that landed on the structure can be heard calling at one point.
