ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE “When we love we can let our hearts speak.” —Bell Hooks  Originally premiering at The Studio@620 in March 2017 with Collective Soles Dance Company, With Love was Alexander Jones’ personal love letter —an expression of hope for his young nephew’s future in a world divided. Now, projectALCHEMY breathes new life into this work in collaboration with Bob Devin Jones, reflecting on the distance and similarities between then and now. Through movement, we explore love in its many forms—care, affection, recognition, respect, commitment, trust, and open communication. This immersive, in-the-round experience invites audiences to engage with the performance in a personal and thought-provoking way. Following the show, stay for open conservation about the work and its messaging with our company artists and the creative team. Why is love something we must fight for every day? And could that fight, in itself, be a radical act? Come be a part of the conversation. Experience With Love,.
**studio@620 & Bob Devin Jones  Retirement? Not really. Jones garnered kudos for his 2024 Hamlet reimagined and he's still buzzing with ideas and creative projects. In 2004, studio@620 was born. It's the award-winning brainchild of Artistic Directors David Ellis and Bob Devin Jones. The idea grew out of the core belief that art and diversity play a crucial role in the lives of individuals and communities. Since then, we’ve continued to put our mission into practice by saying YES to numerous emerging artist exhibitions, social justice round-table discussions, book launches, theatrical productions and staged readings of new theatrical works. The Studio has been a home for several long-running original events and series, including the ever popular Radio Theatre Project, Journeys In Journalism, Poetry Open Mic, and Shakespeare in the City. The Studio@620 served as an incubator for numerous creative ventures in our area: FreeFall Theatre Company, Your Real Stories Productions, Sunscreen Film Festival, Keep St. Pete Lit, Wordier Than Thou, Tombolo Books, Black Horse Theatre, to name a few. https://www.facebook.com/bob.d.jones.18
