Monique Tepe & Michael McKee: NIBIN Match Confirmed, Surveillance Timeline Revealed — FBI Analysis

Columbus police have released critical details in the case against Dr. Michael McKee, the Chicago vascular surgeon charged with the premeditated aggravated murder of Monique Tepe and Spencer Tepe. A preliminary NIBIN ballistics match now links a firearm recovered from McKee's penthouse apartment to shell casings found at the crime scene. Surveillance footage places his vehicle at the Tepe residence before and after the murders. And police say he's the hooded figure seen walking through an alley at 3:52 in the morning. But significant questions remain. There was no forced entry at the Tepe home — investigators haven't explained how McKee allegedly got inside. And no one has addressed why a surgeon trained in precision would allegedly keep the murder weapon in his own apartment for eleven days after the killings. Former FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins us to break down the evidence, the investigative methodology, and the behavioral patterns that emerged months before these murders.
McKee allegedly provided his employer with a fake address. A malpractice process server tried nine times to locate him without success. A former colleague said he "just disappeared." Coffindaffer explains what these evasion patterns suggest from a behavioral standpoint and why McKee's statements to police before his arrest — before he invoked his right to remain silent — could become central to the prosecution's case. Police confirmed no prior reports were filed from the Tepe address about McKee. No restraining orders. No 911 calls. But they hedged when asked about communications between McKee and Monique before the murders. What evidence is still being held back? And what will the defense try to exploit at trial?
