ABOUT LINDA Linda Hansen, a self-published author and watercolor artist, gives an inspiring presentation titled You Are Never Too Young or Too Old. Linda Hansen, a true inspiration, proves that creativity and new beginnings have no age limit. At the age of 74, Linda began her artistic and literary journey, proving that it's never too late to pursue something new. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting, Linda's story is a powerful reminder of the power of creativity and perseverance.
In her engaging talk, Linda shares her experiences and the invaluable lessons she's learned along the way. Her message is simple yet powerful: it's never too late to start, and the possibilities are endless when you embrace what makes you unique. This isn't just a presentation; it's an opportunity to be motivated. Previously, Linda has had more jobs than you can 'shake a stick' at. She has always been self-employed, ran a beauty salon for 7 years, worked as a make-up artist for film, video, and print for 25 years, and sold real estate for 20 years. These jobs often overlapped. Before retiring at 70, Linda was the Executive Director of Burns Recovered Support Group for 20 years. Her responsibilities included developing programs, writing grants, planning fundraising events, public speaking, and she founded the Missouri Children's Burn Camp (name is now Midwest Children's Burn Camp). The camp is now in its 29th year. She has spoken at national and international meetings on the subject of being a burn survivor/co-survivor.
