A Wisconsin man disappears while kayaking on one of the deepest lakes in the state, leading to a massive search. But as investigators dig deeper, the case begins to take an unexpected turn.

On August 11th, 2024, Ryan Borgwardt went kayaking on Big Green Lake in Wisconsin… and never came back.

His overturned kayak was found drifting in the water, along with his belongings scattered across the surface. In a lake nearly 200 feet deep, investigators feared he had drowned.

For 58 days, search teams combed the lake looking for answers.
