While I regained the little strength I had left, already feeling the cold seep into my bones, I continued to stare out the window towards the ice – where, with blurry, unfocused eyes... I began to see the ice move... A section of clumped ice mass seemed to be moving directly towards me – towards the capsule... But something about it almost seemed... organic... as though this mass of ice had a consciousness. I was more than aware I could be hallucinating. Given my recent circumstances, that was to be expected.
