Japan punished the Netherlands’ negative tactics by getting a late equalizer. Germany destroyed Curaçao 7 - 1, but the real story was Curaçao’s history-making by scoring a goal. Ivory Coast and Ecuador player a battle of the Dark Horses, in which the Ivory Coast came out on top. And, despite a terrible qualification campaign, Sweden were ruthless in a huge win over Tunisia.
