53 year old Melissa Casias from Taos, New Mexico, disappeared under very mysterious circumstances on June 26, 2025. The case seemed to generate no promising leads and quickly go cold. Her remains were recently found in a remote heavily wooded area on May 28, 2026. Melissa’s case has gotten a lot of attention… but arguably for all the wrong reasons.
