Idaho Murders: Internet Called Him WHAT First?

This episode is about two theories the University of Idaho murders never seem to shake, and Tony Brueski walks through both, live, on the Kohberger case. The first cost an innocent man his reputation before anyone had a name for the killer. The second is still circulating despite a guilty plea. 
Before Bryan Kohberger's arrest, the internet had already picked a suspect, a young man who'd just lost someone he loved and made the mistake of calling her phone too many times that morning, for reasons that turn out to be completely innocent once investigators laid them out. We cover why the surviving roommates' delayed 911 call doesn't mean what people assume, what their private writings actually reveal, the theory that they were spared because they were involved, and why a judge dismissed the internet's alternate suspects as rank speculation. 
Then we turn to the sheath conspiracy. Kohberger's DNA on that knife sheath wasn't a faint trace, according to the lab, it was hundreds of times more genetic material than a typical case involves, which the lab itself has stated on the record. We go through the unidentified blood found in the house, the DNA mixture under a victim's fingernails that didn't match him, the buried hair claims, the accusation that genetic genealogy was hidden from the court, and the Amazon order for the exact knife style used. 
No clear motive doesn't mean wrong man, and a guilty plea layered on top of DNA, phone data, car evidence, and scanner activity looks nothing like the wrongful plea cases people compare it to. We break down why fixated strangers remain dangerous even without a motive anyone can neatly explain.
