The Siders Had Three Child Brides Before The 16 Kids

The youngest was fourteen and pregnant when she married a forty-eight-year-old cousin of Gary Siders Sr. in 2002. A year later, a fifteen-year-old identified in records as Gary Siders Jr.'s own sister was married in the same county. And in 2008, Elizabeth Russell — the woman now facing sixteen counts of child endangerment — was married at fifteen to Gary Siders Jr. across the state line in West Virginia, where the law set no minimum marriage age at all.
