Melissa in the Morning: New Baby at the Zoo

The Beardsley Zoo has a new face on campus. During the flash flood storm earlier this week, a Chinese goral kid was born. The birth represents an important milestone not only for Connecticut’s only zoo but also for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Jim Wharton, Chief Executive Officer for The Beardsley Zoo, told us the story.
