What Lindsay Clancy's Own Psychiatrist Admitted In Court

Lindsay Clancy broke down hard enough at the defense table that the judge halted the hearing until she composed herself. The family's pediatrician recounted a completely unremarkable checkup with 5-year-old Cora hours before the deaths. Coworkers and friends testified to insomnia, brain fog, a rotating list of medications, and time spent at McLean Hospital. Patrick Clancy's own father took the stand and called her a great mother.

Then the case detective was asked about a search warrant on her Facebook account, hunting for any sign of abuse in the home. He confirmed it turned up nothing.

Her journal entries were read into the record — lines about drowning, about barely holding on. The prosecution reads those words as premeditation.
