A named adult claims he told national media he'd described her fear directly. Her ex-boyfriend says an incident he watched happen over FaceTime made it to her parents. Anna herself reportedly didn't want to go. Days later, she was dead in the cabin she'd been assigned to share with her stepbrother, Timothy Hudson — who has pleaded not guilty to federal charges and is presumed innocent unless a jury says otherwise.

Anna's final message, timestamped 8:14 p.m., anchors the government's timeline — and now it's discovery in the case against the boy accused of killing her.
