When two brothers stumble across an unmarked book hidden among the dusty shelves of their local library, what begins as an innocent curiosity quickly becomes something neither of them can explain. The strange symbols covering its pages seem meaningless to Bill—but to his younger brother Aaron, they are beginning to make perfect sense. Soon, Aaron is experimenting... and succeeding. As impossible tricks become increasingly dangerous demonstrations, Bill watches the brother he knows disappear behind an obsession with knowledge that was never meant for him.
