We hear about PROMs, a tool to help patients discuss sensitive areas of their life with clinicians.
Josh and David meet on Zoom with a packed show. Prof Jaime Vera and Marc Tweed talk to David about Patient Reported Outcome Measures, PROM’s. They are useful to patients who can prepare to disclose sensitive life factors before entering the HIV consultants appointment. Using these PROMs, doctors can help identify unmet medical needs and work with community partners for non medical needs. Both Marc and Jaime choose a song.
News includes NICE not funding injectable Lenacapavir, being cautious when sharing health information with dating Apps, and The Sussex Beacon will soon be launching the Cognitive Health Club in October.
