Why JP Miller's Inner Circle Is Running Now That the Feds Are Watching

Seven hundred members once filled Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach. Fifteen remain. The property has been sold for $2.1 million. The building is slated for demolition. And the people who once stood next to JP Miller every Sunday are now claiming they were never that close.

Miller faces federal charges of cyberstalking and making false statements to investigators, stemming from allegations that he harassed his estranged wife Mica Miller from November 2022 through her death in April 2024. The federal indictment details tracking devices, more than fifty daily contacts, financial interference, and an intimate image allegedly posted without consent. Miller has pleaded not guilty and denies the allegations. He is not charged in Mica's death, which was ruled a suicide. She was thirty years old and had filed for divorce two days prior. Trial is scheduled for October 2026.

Court filings describe congregation members who allegedly helped carry out the harassment Mica reported to police. None of them face charges. And now, with the Netflix docuseries "Death of the Pastor's Wife" reaching tens of millions of viewers, they are gone.
