The 14 Months After Mica Miller Died — What JP Miller Did With His Freedom

Between Mica Miller's death in April 2024 and his federal indictment in December 2025, JP Miller was a free man. What prosecutors allege he did during that time — and what the people around him allegedly did — is the subject of this three-part interview with psychotherapist Shavaun Scott.

Miller faces one count of cyberstalking and one count of making false statements to federal investigators. The indictment alleges he harassed Mica from November 2022 through her death — tracking devices, over fifty contacts in a day, financial interference, and an intimate image posted without consent. He has pleaded not guilty and denies the allegations. Mica was thirty and filed for divorce two days before dying. Her death was ruled a suicide. Miller has not been charged in her death. Trial is October 2026.

Part one covers the enabler exodus — the church members who court filings describe as alleged participants in Mica's harassment, and who only scattered when the feds arrived and the Netflix docuseries reached tens of millions of viewers. Solid Rock Church is gone — sold for $2.1 million, slated for demolition. Seven hundred members became fifteen.

Part three covers the new supply — Miller's June 2025 marriage to Suzie Skinner, whose first husband, a quadriplegic veteran, drowned in 2021. His death was ruled accidental. His family has publicly raised questions.
